Yogi Energy Drink!
Because green is the new red!
One of the most detoxifying things for your body are whole foods, particularly when they're green. This beverage is like drinking mini multi-vitamins, and serves as the perfect pick-me-up to begin your day. I usually play around with different ingredients but this is a good way to start! I also like to blend in a vitamix instead of juicing to get the most fiber and I feel like juicers are a pain in the neck to clean, but that's just me! Remember to go organic!

2 apples, cored
2 big handfuls of spinach
1/2 cup chopped parsley
2 large celery stick chopped
1 teaspoon fresh ginger root, peeled
1 lemon - juice only
1 medium cucumber (peel on)
Juice of 1.5 limes (2 if you love limes)
large handful fresh mint
1/2 cup organic apple juice to liquify
ice cube or two
Blend all ingredients together until smooth and drink soonOptional Ingredients to play with:
1/2 banana
1/3 avocado (smooth and delicious)
other herbs like fresh basil or lemongrass
frozen mango or peach
2 tsp coconut oil
pinch of stevia if you like really sweet
