Read MoreIntroducing my new blog series, The Song on my mind. Music and yoga will forever be intertwined for me. Almost like having peanut butter with chocolate, you just can’t have one without the other. (70 % dark chocolate and natural peanut butter of course) I love to do yoga at home with music, and inspire my students with it in class. Music has always gotten me to similar emotional places that yoga has, so when we are lucky enough to have both, it makes the experience even more powerful!
In these posts, I will share with you what song inspired me today and hope you’ll share it with others. Maybe it’s a song you already know, but never really listened to with the susceptibility that yoga brings to the table. Some days I will share a certain feeling that a song gives me. Maybe a certain instrument. A piano, or a haunting cello. Other days may be more lyric- oriented, and the song’s meaning gets magnified by the yoga! Can you smell the nerdiness?
