Yogi Energy Drink!

​Because green is the new red!

One of the most detoxifying things for your body are whole foods, particularly when they're green. This beverage is like drinking mini multi-vitamins, and serves as the perfect pick-me-up to begin your day. I usually play around with different ingredients but this is a good way to start! I also like to blend in a vitamix instead of juicing to get  the most fiber and I feel like juicers are a pain in the neck to clean, but that's just me! Remember to go organic!
 *Add SP complete, and you have the perfect drink for the 21 day cleanse!

  • 2 apples, cored

  • 2 big handfuls of spinach

  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley

  • 2 large celery stick chopped

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger root, peeled

  • 1 lemon - juice only

  • 1 medium cucumber (peel on)

  • Juice of 1.5 limes (2 if you love limes)

  • large handful fresh mint

  • 1/2 cup organic apple juice to liquify

  • ice cube or two
    Blend all ingredients together until smooth and drink soon

  • Optional Ingredients to play with:

  • 1/2 banana

  • 1/3 avocado (smooth and delicious)

  • other herbs like fresh basil or lemongrass

  • frozen mango or peach

  • 2 tsp coconut oil

  • pinch of stevia if you like really sweet
